Rifle looks great as is. Do you need to spend $80 to get a better cheek weld for better, more comfortable shooting? I'd imaging that would be the only reason to change.

Btw, the pic immediately made me think that your mini was tiny and was placed on a large paper towel for the pic. I guess due to pattern of cloth it is on.

 

That is another facet of the problem. It is pricey to change. Maybe if there is a cheap set laying around.

Its not a necessity, just something of an annoyance. I cant stand to have about a quarter inch of clearance between the scope bell and heat shield.
