I have a pre warning 10/22 with some custom trigger work. I have all the orignal parts. Is it worth more in orignal condition or as a modded gun. I built two 10/22's a few years ago and I know money is easy to spend on them. But it has been a long time since I have looked at values and parts prices. Any info would be nice. Thanks:D

First, I noticed you're from Maine - Hey neighbor!:)

OK...If it were in really good condition and unmodified it might bring a slight premium over a warning marked model. Usually box, and correct period papers are wanted as well. There's simply too many of these out there to have them attain any large premium. Having been modified took away about all chances of it having any increasd value.

What is a warning 10/22? Haven't heard that one.

If you were really old (like me) you could remember 10-22s with real walnut carbine stocks and no warnings printed all over the barrel, read manual blah blah.

The warning on the barrel that says before using read the manual.

I would think a 200th year might rate some extra coin, but the warning not so much. Too many around.
