First, I noticed you're from Maine - Hey neighbor!

OK...If it were in really good condition and unmodified it might bring a slight premium over a warning marked model. Usually box, and correct period papers are wanted as well. There's simply too many of these out there to have them attain any large premium. Having been modified took away about all chances of it having any increasd value.

If you were really old (like me) you could remember 10-22s with real walnut carbine stocks and no warnings printed all over the barrel, read manual blah blah.

 

I have one like this even has a metal butt plate only thing printed on the barrel is the model, caliber and 'made in the the 200th year of freedom'

 

The warning on the barrel that says before using read the manual.


I would think a 200th year might rate some extra coin, but the warning not so much. Too many around.
