SKS part(s)

if i could get this NORINCO SKS at auction what else would i need to make it usable beside the trigger group, stock, gas tube, magazine and hand guard ? and how much do you guys think i should go on the bid.. it's at $40 right now receiver and bolt look clean in other photos

Looks like you got it figured out and if you get it for under $100 I think you've done well. Classic Arms were selling Norincos SKS with broken stocks for approximately $300.00.
One piece of advice, don't try to make it an AK, find a stock magazine. It'll run alot smoother with a stock 10 rd magazine.

Oh yeah the piston!! i knew there was, something always is. I would never do the "Ak Conversion thing" already have a AK......... well its a toSSup go for this SKSish or a Win model 94 with a broken buttstock....there is also a rock river arms LAR 15 that is labeled as a Ruger 10/22 just need the lower AKA trigger and buttstock parts build

The Winchester 94 flat top is a good little rifle, but it has limited options for optics. If you want to mount a scope check out the Win Ranger lever action. Here's mine.

i would be fine with iron sights just for plinking anyway. Its going to be hard to choose witch to go for lol
