Pretty good deal.

Just FYI we have no prohibition to having high capacity mags shipped to Illinois, except a couple Chicago area towns. Anywhere south of that and we're good. In fact, several Illinois towns are gun sanctuary cities. They've passed resolutions to honor uphold the 2nd Amendment.

And Indiana is even more 2nd Amendment friendly than Illinois. It's one of the best states to live for gun owners. No prohibition to shipping high cap mags or ammunition to Indiana.

It is a good price. What Beck posted above and also if you are a LE Officer you are authorized to own high capacity no matter what state you live in.

Ruger is ridiculous on where they will ship. I tried to order some from a vendor in Fla. Guy wouldn't sell them. Said I needed a note from the Chief. I told him to get on his computer and look up the General Law. Tell me where it says I need a note from the Chief!!! Frustrating to say the least!!!! I understand the apprehension....but if you are going to be in the "business"....learn the laws. Playing right in to what the Anti 2A's want....back door control.
Rant over.

I understand guys, but honestly it really is 2 things for me.

1) I don't need the extra homework
2) It isn't worth the hassle if I wind up grabbing a dishonest buyer whom lives a few blocks too close to Chicago or in some other unconstitutional tard zone.

Does it suck? Yes, I just don't want to be liable for anything. We shouldn't have to deal with any of this crap...

I know - better safe than sorry.
A point of clarification and I know it's confusing - imagine what it's like for us. Hawaii bans any pistol mag over 10 rounds. Rifle mags are okay - BUT - if there is/was a pistol version of the rifle then the mag is considered a pistol mag. ARs, H&K and clones, AKs, M1 carbines, etc. mags considered "pistol" mags. Even 10/22 mags are considered pistol mags here!

The Mini is okay - high cap mags okay for Minis. M1As, AR10s, etc. are okay - no pistol version ever made - so far. I had an old AR180 and the hi-caps were legal for that but if the mags are dual purpose - fit both 15 and 180 - then they are illegal. I don't think anyone has ever been prosecuted under the law here but if they get you for something else - it'll probably be an added charge. Go figure.

Yeah it's a mess sorting it out.

Just more FYI... most of my high cap mags I bought from out of state and were sent to me in Illinois, including one from Ruger. It was a replacement for one that developed some surface rust. So there you go. Even Ruger sends high cap mags to Illinois.

Best thing to do is go to gunbroker.com and check out their guidelines for where you can send high cap mags.

As for me, I'll send high cap mags to any LEO with a high cap mag permit.

Would you be willing to separate 4 (New OR used)? Or are you selling everything as a whole?

Well good luck I guess, but I'm going to have to pass in that case.
