Aimpoint Pro with single Warne QD ruger mount?

I saw a picture of a mini with an Aimpoint Pro mounted with a single Warne quick detach Ruger ring. It would be handy to have a traditional scope and a red dot with same-height quick detach rings so they could be swapped at will without cheek-weld issues.

If anyone has done this, does the single Warne ring on the Aimpoint provide a secure and repeatable attachment?

Nevermind......

Found out what I was looking for using the search function (imagine that).

Sounds like an Aimpoint 9000sc and a traditional scope, both at 30mm, mounted in same-height Warne quick detach rings would give me the ability to use either without having to change cheek-weld height.

The adjustable cheek rest unit I'm considering (Bradley) is easily removeable should I want to use the irons.

Works great. It's a primary arms (aimpoint clone) but 30mm is 30mm. I'm using the high ring.

Sweet looking rifle there, KingANuthin.
A few questions: How is the stability and return to zero? Also, do you see your front iron sight when looking through the red dot?

Warne qd are very very good. Return to zero no problem.
No, you cannot see irons no matter what you mount on the reciever.

You also might check out the QD ruger rings from Alaska Arms if you are gonna go the single ring route as they look to be somewhat wider than the Warne rings. They used to only sell singles and now they only have sets listed, but i'm sure they would sell a single if you emailed them. Heres a link:

RUGER RINGS, 1", HIGH, LEFT LEVERS (R51LR51L) : 1 Inch

Also, good lookin rifle kinganuttin.
