New mini 30 unusual wear

I purchased a new stainless mini 30 cleaned it put light oil on receiver wear points. after shooting approx 150 rounds the receiver where the bolt rides on it has wore unusually the top of the receiver on the side where the bolt roller rides the side is now rounded off about 1/4 of a inch before the bolt rolls over to lock is that of concern

I would start by calling Ruger and speaking with a customer service representative, tell the C.S.R.what you are seeing and offer to e-mail pictures which may help them determine a course of action. If the gun has a problem Ruger will fix/replace it. Also, you might want to consider using grease as opposed to oil, personally I use grease, applied very thin on all sliding/rotating parts. It doesn’t get thrown off the way oil can and clean up of shooting residue is substantially better than when using oil.

Here's a recent thread from another member. Is this wear similar to what you're experiencing?
