New Slide Fire Mini Stock

This months Guns and Ammo had an add featuring the new Mini 14 Slide Fire chassis. The chassis allows you to fit the Slide Fire AR15 stock. The set up looks pretty cool. Bump firing is not my thing, but I thought would share the info.

Sorry I searched last night with no luck. If I find something I'll post a link. Picture a Sparta stock with an AR 15 buffer tube, stock, and pistol grip. EDIT: Here is a picture I scanned of page 42 of the December 2013 G&A add.

Bit off topic, but how well do these slide fire stocks work? Can you do 3 round controlled bursts with practice? Can you shut down the mechanics if you want? I've carried an M14 and liked the select fire on it, I rarely rapid fire my Minis but am fairly decent at bumping it when needed.

Thanks for the pic, looks lethal as hell.

The slide fire stocks work really well, but it does take practice to learn the technique. The stock does have a lock on it to keep it from sliding back and forth, hence prohibiting any bump firing. This chassis looks cool. If it could be fitted with regular AR stocks, I would consider one. That is, as long as the price wasn't stupid high.

correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm reading that correctly, you have to buy the chassis (pictured) first, then install the actual "bump fire" stock, which would be the SSAR 15.....is that correct? So in effect to get this capability for the mini you have to buy both this chassis and the SSAR 15? I noticed below the pic of the rifle it says it "accepts the SSAR 15".
