Source for replacement flat recoil pads?

Hey everyone, I recently acquired a wood stock to replace my factory synthetic one. The stock didn't come with a recoil pad so I was looking for a replacement one (don't want to scavenge the one off the synthetic stock). The stock is one of the flat ones instead of the curved ones. Was wondering if anyone had a source for replacement flat rubber ones, as every site I've been to just has the plastic curved ones. Or should I just use something like a limb saver and fit it to the stock. Thanks!

Do you want an OEM look or are you OK with an aftermarket add on?

Hey C/D,

Would prefer the OEM look, but if an aftermarket one is out there that looks good, not opposed to that.

You don't know how to fire a long arm without a recoil pad?

keep that recoil from beating yourself up while you fire....

You can't find the point on your own?

What do you want me to explain to you?

I learned how to properly fire a high recoiling gun.

No need for a recoil pad for me.

Trucks and Guns- I want a replacement recoil pad because the back of the stock is unfinished and has two big screw holes showing where the one that was removed used to be, not very nice to look at.

Basically I bought a used wood stock, all hardware was removed including the recoil pad. I want to return the stock to it's OEM configuration so I need a new recoil pad. Hoping that someone knows a source for them.

Does anyone know if something like this would work? Ruger Recoil Pad Midway

Didn't mention the mini 14 so I wasn't sure, but aren't the mini and the 10/22 stocks similar?

Easton-

Couple of options here - Call Ruger and get an original from them - pt#D06304.

Brownells has some nice ones, both bolt on and slip on. You didn't mention your LOP however if the stock seems short you might want to consider spacers for the butt pad while your at it. Go for a custom fit. Measure stock then your arm and size accordingly.

Does anyone no of a butt plate that will properly fit the newer style stocks? I actually want to remove my factory recoil pad, and replace it with a butt plate. The newer stocks are too long for me.
