If you're just looking for added height, check out the BearTooth Products Comb Raising Kit. Available in 2 colors, plus several camo patterns, with or without cartridge loops.

Another option that several members have gone with is the Karsten Adjustable Cheek Rest. Though it's more expensive, it's height-adjustable.

I run the Karsten "B" Model. Same as the "A" but without the fat knobs.

Pieth likes this.

I use the BearTooth on my over/under and it is really good, has many pads you can use for adjustments and the folks that work there are really helpful.

I like the look of the Karsten, and I do some amateur Kydex work so decided to make my own cheek riser for the Mini 14. Looks similar to the Karsten - if anyone is interested I posted some instructions and an overview below.

Will the Karsten work on a collapsible stock, anyone tried that yet?

For my factory plastic stock 580, I used some black foam pipe insulation from the hardware store. Slit lengthwise (it's usually scored for that already), hold in place with black duct tape.

It's just as ugly as the Beartooth or Karsten, but cheaper.

Got a Bradley adjustable cheek rest. Expensive, but well worth it.
Adjustable for height, rock solid, no stock drilling required.
Easily removable and reinstalls the same way every time.
Looks good too.

I was very pleased at the difference it made shooting with the mini scoped.
