This is a factory problem I know but im just not going to the bother to send it back to Ruger. The way I have dealing with this is ajusting the windage to compansate for the canted front site. The weapon shoots fine. I get 1 1/2 inch to 1 inch groups at 100 yards. But this canted front site is anoying me. I need to ajust the windage to the right just to center the front site more to the left. Know what i mean? Never did like Rugers front site setup. Any fix for this without drilling, hacking, grinding or any lage scale construction projects. I was thinking Red Permatex and alimanateing the rolepin all togather. That way I could center the front site and elimanate that pin all togather. I just dont like the idea of drilling on a Mini.

If you can get it off and take a milling file and work the slot over a little more till it lines up. I chopped and attached my site myself using a file. good luck

Ok.. I must of had a poor connection to my brain cells when I decided that i had a canted front site. I had just changed flash hiders and went out to test it. Its one of them Eagle flash hiders with the HK type front site on top. Well now that i looked at it better Its not the Flashhider or Mini Its the milled flat on top of the flashhider that the site mounts to is slightly milled at a cant and not parralel to the sight plain. So i took the sight off the flashhider by the two small allen head bolts and shimed the site till she was plum center. I wondered why i didnt have this problem with the old site. Just after i put the new hider on. I guess ya find some thing new every day.
