A buddy of mine gave a huge lot of 7.62x39 once fired brass. Most of it has a headstamp of E.D.P 02 7.62x39. The primers are coated red. Can anyone tell more about this mini-30 brass?

I checked several Headstamp bds. It is probably East Europe mfg. Look inside to see if it is berdian primed.

I second cajun on the Eastern European part. Likely made in Czech Republic or Bulgaria, and likely loaded by Olympic in Greece. Some of this is boxer primed (easily reloadable), and some berdan (not so easy).

Thanks, I cleaned a bunch of them up and they are boxer primed. The primer pockets are way off center and they look really beat up so I tossed the whole bunch.
