That's a great price for factory mags because they're usually $38.99 or more. Good find!

I have 10 of the vintage Thermold 30 rd magazines. I bought them between 1987 - 1994. All of the magazines worked and worked well. And the more they were used, the better all of them performed.

Back then, factory mags were very exspensive and hard to come by. The Thermolds filled that void so well, I had no need for the factory hi-cap magazine's.

Thermold got a bad rap back then though, when Canada started making them for the M-16 (they changed the type of plastic used). The American made magazine back then, are 100% reliable mag, in my Mini.

So if you can find the (they are still out there). Scoop em up. You won't be disapointed.

Thermold's are back in production again. Does anyone have any experience with the "New Thermolds"? I wrote the company a few month's ago, asking a few question's. Never got a response back, which makes me a bit hesitant to purchase a few of the new ones.

I have used both the older Thermolds and the newer ones. There was a large gap in production, and someone new bought the molds.

The older ones are made of a different polymer that I find preferable. The newer polymer is more brittle, and I had a feedlip break.

Hoffman's Gun Center are out of the mini14 mags. I have back orders with midway and brownells for mags. Two mini 14 and two magazines just don't cut it.

Saw this Ruger Factory 20rd. today on Ebay..Ouch ! seller says he has sold several at this price. 1.) Because is is factory stamped equipment and 2.) its what the market will bare at this time. I call it gouging but I suppose if you want it and are have the resources to spend on it. Then do it.

Considering I've seen AR mags go for 5 times normal price, and some ammo too, I don't think 3 times normal price is all that bad. High, yes. But you can't blame anyone these days for trying to make a buck. Mags are in high demand these days. I bought 20 AR mags for $170, and if I was to sell them now, it sure wouldn't be as cheap as I got them for.

What's messed-up about Ruger is first look at the above prices. Then, a 10 rounder Mini-14 is the same as a 20 rounder. And then they sell a 30 round, stainless steel, AR mag. by C-Products for 20.00 They even sell a SR556 10 round mag for 20.00 - WTF

They want to win the hearts and minds of their loyal customers? They should give us a break on the magazines!

I ordered five 20 round Ruger factory mags from shop ruger dot com on 3/17 and they were delivered 4/10! They say sold out but accepting back orders so the wait wasn't too long. They are $39.99 each.

Good luck,

Patience is finally starting to pay off for me . Just got in a goodie package in the mail - 3 Ruger FACTORY 20 rd and 1 5 rd magazine for my Mini all for $115 ! Just checked E-bay and some sellers are trying to get dumb amounts for aftermarket magazines . It is starting to get better out there , just gotta wait for the deals !

BTW, that was with free shipping too ! Thanks CDNN !
