Mini14/300blkout/T20 garand sight issue

Guys, I’ve gotten my T20 build to where it reliably feeds, ejects and strips the next rd using CFEBLK powder and bullets ranging from 110 to 150 gr. I’ve gone from not cycling at all to where the rear of the op rod is contacting the front of my action. Mty’s are falling 3-4 ft from me. I’ve added a blue square mini buffer there. Still have a ways to go on the stock but I’m starting on some load development and have hit another snag. At 35-40 yds I’m consistently about 3 inches low. I’ve machined the Garand front sight down by half without much difference. I need another rear sight blade with a higher peep hole. I have read somewhere about a high hole Ruger rear sight. Anyone have one they don’t need or have a mod to suggest? I don’t want to replace the whole rear sight as its as close as I can get to the garand’s sight. I even thought about modding a garand sight, they are pretty close. This build is a combination of a 24 inch bbl with a garand profile, gas cylinder-two op rods welded together-an older Ruger mini14 action/rear sight and chambered in 300 blkout which will eventually all get put into a full sized Garand stock. Btw, it is grouping but low left.

Sounds nice. How about a pic ? Did you put a Walnut stock on it ?
Sorry I don't know of a higher rear sight.

Here’s a couple photos. The details of my build are in the garand sub forum. Really wasn’t sure where to post it as it started out as a mini14 but will end up a garand. I posted this query here hoping a mini fan might be able to help me out with my sight issue.

Just thought that I’d mention that in my experimentation with different ideas to get my rifle to cycle I also replaced the bear of a hammer spring that ruger uses with a spring from my spring box. My spring sets off 300blkout CCI primered handloads fine along with factory aguila and American Eagle and is much easier to cycle. Has made for a softer trigger pull too. Just checked it with a gauge and looks to be about 2 3/4 lb pull. My stock reenforcement has arrived from midway so I get to play with it. Planning to set the action back a little more in order to get the handguards to fit without having to add or remove any wood.
