So you think that Jesus Christ was a socialist?

Jesus Christ was many things, but He was definitely not a socialist.

Keep laughing... there’s another that’ll be laughing last at your expense, though it won’t be me.

Lots of sleight of hand, logical fallacies and deception in that, so not at all surprised you would post it.

Starting with the premise. Of course Jesus wasn't a socialist. Socialism didn't exist at that time, any more than capitalism did. Socialism is the natural response to capitalism. If Jesus were physically present on earth today, I do not believe he would "side" with either. But it is beyond clear that socialism is far more compatible with true Christianity - the teachings of Jesus, including the precepts of discipleship - than capitalism is, or can ever be, even under the best of circumstances. And now we are under ever worsening circumstances due to capitalism's failures.

I doubt when your Jesus suggested you turn the other cheek, he was referring to your behavior in the men's room.

You freesw, are not reading God’s word with an honest open heart... and/or, you’re lying.
There will be another laughing last at your expense as well.
Pity.

No one, living or dead, has ever read god's word because there is no god, there never was a god, there never will be a god, and therefore there are no words of god. The idea of god is a mental construct of man that began thousands of years ago in an attempt to explain away what was not easy to explain in those days.

But, hey, thoughts and prayers for whatever is troubling you. That's a lot easier than trying to fix what is broken.

You get to choose for yourself alone what you believe, no worries.

How about providing some definitive proof that they’re wrong?

Rightwing wackosphere - it's like a whole 'nuther reality

An intelligent 6th grader could disprove half the garbage in rightwing blogs with ease, and with half already disproven, how useful can the rest of the garbage possibly be?

I hate to imagine what it's like going through life believing that crap, or pretending to. I do know it's soul-crushing; you can see the results here.

That's what you call definitive proof?
Sounds like a sidestep due to not having any definitive proof to support a fraudulent position that is fundamentally indefensible.
Kudos for helping to prove my point.

I'm still waiting for you boyz to offer up tangible
proof that jesus was who you think and say he was, or, for that matter, any tangible proof of the existence of your god.

Christ was the son of God, it's not a matter of thinking or saying anything.
Your demand for 'tangible proof' is your own failing, not anyone else's.

No thinking is required, eh? There's absolutely NO proof jesus was the son of god or even if there was or is a god. You righties believe every bit of non-provable b.s. fed you.

Like I've said over and over, you are responsible for your own choices.

I beg to differ on that last point of yours... we don't believe one iota of the bs you continually try to feed us.

our lord and savior WAS and IS above the pettiness of men...and that includes political theories or parties, as well as all the other failures of men.

Ever heard of the Shroud of Turin? How about the multiple documented witnesses to His life , death and resurrection? Weather you choose to believe those witnesses is your own responsibility and choice. If we choose to believe differently than you, is that a reason to belittle Christianity? Why do atheists always get to force their views on Americans, but Christian's cannot even display a creche in public before some anti-christ Jew or Muslim goes running off to a judge to shut it down. At Christmas. A celebration of Jesus Christ.

Of course I've read about the shroud. It is a medieval creation. In 1390, a bishop wrote that the shroud was a forgery and that an unnamed artist had confessed...and radiocarbon dating of a sample of the fabric is consistent with this date. In other words, it is a fake.

I don't force my views on anyone...you are entitled to take them or leave them...makes no difference to me.

As for displaying a creche, I have no objection to it being placed on church property or in the homes or on the lawns of privately held property, but it has no place on the public's property.

What religious people do in their houses of prayer or their homes is not my concern, unless innocents are being physically or mentally abused. When religion is practiced or "symbolized" on the public's property, I believe that is stepping over the line.

I don't see christianity as different from any other religion...they're all the same to me...superstitious nonsense. Please get back to me when your god decides enough is enough and little children no longer contract deadly diseases or starve to death or are turned into homeless refugees by religious believers.

It is a wicked generation that demands a sign, and it is foolish to cast your pearls before such swine.

Perhaps apologetics is the underlying principle of your religion and your faith in Trump.

.....Or are ripped apart limb by limb and have their head crushed, or their brain sucked out by a murderer masquerading as a "Doctor". As has occurred ( in high proportions amongst the Black community) to over 60 million babies in the last 46 yrs by the pagans and God haters.
