Rand Paul says he will visit every State

Rand Paul vows to visit 'every state legislature' over the next two years in bid to fix elections laws
by Michael Lee | | January 24, 2021 04:27 PM

Sen. Rand Paul vowed to go to “every state legislature” over the next two years in a bid to fix election laws, despite what he said were Democrat and media denials that problems exist.

“Partisan Democrats in the media think they can get away with just calling Republicans liars because they don’t agree with us,” the Kentucky Republican said on Twitter. “I voted to certify the electors and seat the new President. It’s not about that anymore. They won’t even admit there is election fraud and want to pretend nothing happened.”

Paul then said he would work with legislatures across the country to promote more secure election laws.

“That’s why I’ll spend the next two years going to every state legislature trying to fix the laws, protect our vote and stop election fraud,” Paul said.

Paul included a clip of his interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, with the two clashing over whether or not fraud had an impact on the results of the 2020 presidential election.

While Stephanopoulos said that there was no evidence to support former President Donald Trump’s claim that widespread election fraud cost him the election, Paul argued that there was lawlessness by state legislatures that warranted further investigation.

“There were several states in which the law was changed by the secretary of state and not the state legislature,” Paul said in response to Stephanopoulos asking if Paul “accepted” that the election wasn’t stolen from Trump. “To me, those are clearly unconstitutional and I think there is still a chance that those actually do finally work their way up to the Supreme Court.”

Paul pointed specifically to Pennsylvania, where changes to state election law without the legislature's consent led to controversy in what turned out to be a narrow win for President Biden in the state.

“I accepted the state certifications,” Paul continued. “But it doesn’t mean that I think that there wasn’t fraud, and that there weren’t problems that have to be investigated and it doesn’t mean that the law wasn’t broken. I believe in Pennsylvania they broke the law, and I believe that if that would ever get a real hearing in the Supreme Court. … I do believe that the Supreme Court would overrule and say that they did break the law.”

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof
Nothing ambiguous about that, clearly any state who changed their election rules without legislature approval violated the Constitution.

I'd say it's incumbent upon the citizenry of any state who violated it to voice their disapproval with their state legislatures and other elected officials. And if they don't, they're getting exactly what they deserve......

In a blue state what are the chances any thing will change when they
have total control of the government?
Not everyone in a state deserves to suffer because the majority are a-holes.
Also not everyone can just pick up and move.

Agree. Just think about it. How many folks have moved from a blue State to a red State. Yes, they tend to take their politics with them but NOW is the time to get them thinking about making that change.

Mr. Trump and Mr. Paul made up and were "friends" several years ago. Now is the time to get these new red State residents to thinking about what they left behind. Not every mind is going to get changed but this has to start somewhere. On this subject, Rand and Donald are on the same piece of paper.

If we can't get them to rethink their election laws now it is never going to change. They left a State because they were pissed off at the system. Why would they want to go back to the same system ?? It's going to take some pushing to get them pointed in the right direction. Many of these folks asses are still stinging from making the move. Maybe between Rand and Donald they can get even for that pain.

I don't ever see Donald going back to the White House but I see him becoming an elder Statesman in a new America where he gets to continue his MAGA message. A message that the democRATS want to silence him on and silence him totally. So much so they will sell America to the highest bidder to just to make it happen.

Just my opinion.

I agree DJT has suffered enough. He started the charge against the swamp.
There are others who will be willing to stand-up for America.
We needs to stop the money pit that DC has become.

They can not sell what they do not own.

That folks is the key.

DO NOT let them own you. Period.

As for this thread? As long as there are computerized CHEATING, whoops, Voting machines... The CHEATERS will run the country.

Why do we let them?

We are many.
They are few.

Rise up America, and wipe out the CHEATERS while you still can. Let history be your guide, not your road map to repeat the mistakes of past humans.

When CHEATERS run the show? People suffer.

End it by ending them. (Their power that is.)

If Rand wants to change things?

1) Term limits.
2) Vote in person WITH ID.
3) Citizens only. (And if Illegals show up to vote? Arrest them and deport them.)

And the most important?

4) NO DOMINION VOTING MACHINES OR SOFTWARE.

Ever again.

That would be a dream come true if we could accomplish that. I'd never ask Santa for another thing if we were granted at least 3 of the items on that wish list.
