wy_daveh - Doesn't that mag make the rifle sort of uneven to hold? It looks like a lot of weight hanging off one side. Then again, considering you probably got it way cheaper than a 100 rnd beta-mag......
Fully loaded, it is by the manual, under 4 pounds. Def not a hold and shooter, well not too long. I got it for $60 and couldnt pass it up. And with the bipod I forsee it as mostly for "laying down cover" when the zombies attack haha.

I like that set up Curt. I'm still trying to fabricate a flash hider with bayonet mount for my 580, I'm not much of a metalworker so it's a bit of an uphill climb.

Figure I'll post this, although it's only mine until the snow melts. It's getting traded for a Saiga 12 + mags as soon as I can use the highway without getting killed by sliding cars!

How did you get that great pattern on your walnut colored stock? I love those black patterns.

Here she is after much deliberating. I don't think I will change much past this point. May add a scope but I am just not sure.

It is a Hogue stock. I have not done any mods. It shoots so well that I don't see the point.

I agree! Need to know! That one looks really good.
And second, what is that front sight on the black one?

both are early style mini's, im not sure who makes the wood one, i bought it on ebay because it had a wooden pistol grip like the M1 carbine paratrooper, and the front sight on the tactical one is a muzzle brake that i cut because i wanted a winged front sight.
