New to me 1894

New to the Lever Action section of PU. I've spent most of my time in the Mini 14/30 forum.
But, I just recently purchased a used 1894 that was calling my name at my LGS. It's serial number puts it as being produced in 1948, from what I've read (1,500,xxx). It's in very good condition from what I can tell. The bore looks amazingly sharp and shiny. The bluing is wore mostly from hand-carry. The original owner is moving into an old-folks home and said he has to sell all his firearms "because they don't want a bunch of old farts shooting each other over spilled coffee." The rifle that I got is chambered in 32 Win Spec. I took it out yesterday and shot it for the first time, along with my old Marlin Guide gun.
I just wanted to share (Brag) about my new Winchester.Click image for larger version
