It seems to have been a certificate expiration issue. If you look at the site cert you can see that its start time was the 29th of November. I did get a certificate error when I tried to login the other day. Looks all good now.

It seems to be, but that is not the only time it has happened, very recently.

Happened to me again just now, seems it happens whenever I get a decent number of "Likes" from my previous session.

Had no warning yesterday, got one today. As DH said, it is a certificate expiration issue. I run into that from time to time on other sites; curiously most are .mil sites...

You can never trust a dot mil site to keep their certificate valid for too long. The process for renewal is too cumbersome. I noted the sites cert has a short validity period. Like Kevin said, its not a big deal to update the certificate. What Kevin didn't add is its easy at times to have it expire. Happened to me more than once on things that I manage. When I saw it I checked the cert and saw a recent expiration so I continued.

If a web site cert isn't valid and you don't know the reason, its usually a good idea to back away.

NOT ONE web site I have been to has ever indicated an expired cert. That’s thousands of web sites over 20+ years. Is this the equivalent of not paying your bill?

could be some interference perhaps? I would not be surprised anything on this forum and/or the web in general.

Game, I run into them several times a week. Have done so for years. As a retired Army guy, I often refer to .mil sites, and often run into expired "credentials". It is mostly a function of proper upkeeping of credentials. Not a big problems, and I suspect our respecive blogs have the same problems.

Not really concerned; probably should be...

My actual issues here are with the "User CP" function of my account. It is scrambled, and definitely has a short somewhere. I'd be prone to guess there was likely some snooping around in there ???

Seems I'll be cutting back on my presence here again.

Good Luck Guys !

It could be not paying the bill, but more likely a switch of CA's or wrong information from the provider. Who knows. It happens. When you get a cert error its easy to check the expiration.

Yep, the .mil sites are notorious for certificate issues, to the point where it's unusual to run across one where it's not an issue.

Of course most of them still run adobe flash player as well, 'nuff said there....
