Another refinishing job, this time a Dan Wesson revolver that we believe spent time as a sidearm for a security or LE officer. Pics and blog links below

I bought a rifle at a garage sale for $20, it was missing the bolt, trigger guard and rear sight elevator.
JC Higgins model 41 (Marlin 100/101). I decided to try and build a cheap youth trainer rifle, by shrinking the dimensions and then refinishing the wood and steel. I think it turned out pretty good. The best part is it didn't cost me a nickel, I actually made money on the project!

Here is what I started with:

and here it is finished:

I don't know what is your occupation, but you need to find desirable guns that are in poor condition and low priced, then bring them back with your talent. You should be able to turn several around and make a living at it.

Here is a retro-10/22 I built. I has a vintage walnut Finger Groove Sporter stock, a steel receiver (from Kingston Armory), new take-off barrel and new anodized aluminum trigger housing (from Pike Arms). The steel parts were given a 5000 grit polished finish and blued in hot salts.

Here is a Savage 110 that I refinished recently, it wasn't heavily pitted, just small rust spots and some worn bluing from field use.

I polished the barrel to a gloss shine, then gave the bolt handle and receiver a matte finish. I think it turned out pretty good
