Scope Suggestions for 7.69x39 CZ?

I just got my hands on a CZ 527 carbine, slightly used, in 7.62x39, and I'd like some recommendations for a decent scope that'll be good out to 200 yards or so. Hopefully, no more than $200. Thank you.

Make that 7.62x39 in the headline. I can't type.
Bepe likes this.

Bepe has that rifle and believe he has a Leupold 1.5 x 4 Patrol.
I have used both the Primary Arms 1-6x conventional scope, and their 3x Prism, both with the excellent ACSS reticle calibrated for the x39 cartridge.
The holdovers are right on.
The Leupold will be much lighter than the PA scopes but is double the money.

It might be tough to find either of those for $200 though, unless you can find a used one.
The Leupold has always sold for $600 although I've seen them lately for $400 new.
The PA scopes run $275 new but I've seen some lightly used ones on E-Bay for $160-$200.

You could get something like a Nikon P-223 and after some range time learn the holdovers for the x39.
I use a Nikon pistol scope on my Mini-30s, it is long eye relief so it has to mount out on the barrel.
