Ruger M77 Tang Safety -- Schnabel Fiberglass Stock???

Here is a cool gun I bought. A 1986 Ruger M77 tang safety in .270 Winchester. Has nifty old Redfield 1.75-5x scope.

But the mysterious part is what kind of stock it has. I have never seen a fiberglass Schnabel tipped stock for a Ruger M77. Looks similar to McMillan featherweight for Model 70. But I talked to McMillan and they never made a stock like this for the Ruger tang safety era M77s.

So what is it? Has textured gripping surfaces on grip and forend, molded-in stippling rather that checkering. Foam filled, fiberglass.

My 77 is stainless all weather in .300 winmag. Maybe a factory option? My stock is a black synthetic but totally different than yours.
