Let me guess you have never been to Umiat, Cold Bay. or Kodiak Alaska.
If you had you would know why...
Creatures that go bump in the night and then eat you during the day.

Ummmmmm........Sparky..........I don't think you want to use 115 grain 10mm for big bad bears.

Ballistics 101.

Spent a lot of time in Grizzly Bear country in wildlife management and back country search and rescue. At no time did I ever think a gimmicky load like this was a good choice for virtually anything.

Then again, in the half dozen or so close bear encounters I had I never needed anything beyond bear spray which was stunningly effective. I know that doesn’t appeal to fantasies on the subject, but it’s reality.

Here we go who said anything about bears, not me.
Handgun for bears 44mag or bigger prefer to use .300 mag rifle on bears.
Polar Bears .300 win mag or .378 weatherby mag.
Bear spray does not work well when windy or in heavy cover.
For wolves and other animals the defenders will work fine.

I wouldn't be caught out in known bear habitat w/out 220 gr or larger 800 fps or more to back-up bear spray.
those rounds are expensive and a sales person could easily impress those on a new-to-guns handgun buyer as needed when XTP or Rem GS or Speer GD are time proven. I know Rem GS functions as advertised I've taken stupid does with my .45 Marlin carbine and recovered 2 slugs. handloads, 185 gr but I've got some 230 haven't had to load.

For wolves 9mm works just fine. It’s just a large dog.

No need for goofy, gimmick ammunition.
