The one part of my 1300 I didn't like was the litlle polymer or something bushing around the mag tube inside the receiver. My 1300 was a used purchase and after I had put several hundred rouns through it, the little plastic bushing there wouldn't align the shell bars just right. If you weren't extremely careful during reassembly, the gun wouldn't feed right.
In defense of the 1300, except for this, it was an extremely reliable and solid shotgun. I loved the speed of it's cycle. Mine was a used unit, I have no idea how many rounds went through it before I bought it. I am sure if you get a new one, you will have many hundreds, (thousands?) of rounds of trouble free usage from it,...
