Will this work on my ruger?

I am thinking about buying a swift riflescope, a 3.5-10x44mm. My question is can I put this on my ruger m77mk11 in 7mm mag using the 42mm rings, or will i have to buy the taller rings? Just hoping maybe somebody would have experience with this. Let me know, thanks.
