I'm in the South Bay area, and used to go out to 29 Palms to shoot near the base. No one around to bother you but just too hot during the summer months. Hi power rifle ranges are scarce around here, you just have to drive long distances.

Hey 0811, I live in the Los Angeles area. I shoot at Angeles Crest (which is off of the 210 highway) and also at an indoor range called LAX which is in Inglewood CA, by the airport. By the way, lots of people have AK's and AR's, and High Cap mags, as long as you owned them prior to the various laws that change almost daily

Hey 0811!

I am from East Los Angeles, CA and also shoot at Angeles crest off the 210 freeway. I mostly shoot my M1A and Springfield 1911 but, I also shoot my mini-14 a lot as well.

308 and .45 what a combiniation!!!!Efficiency and power!

I'm not too far from ya bout 50 miles. Hard for me to
get out as I'm taking care of a parent who has seen
better times, and is a stroke victim. I have a mini-14
that has had some work done on it, too much to list.
I haven't been to the range since spring but hope to
go in the fall. Thanks for defending our country by
