I have had 3 guns with them. It makes a very heavy gun. It is nice if you are a target shooter. The one I like best is the thumb hole stock on my 243 Savage. Had a model 12 Savage with the 26 long barrel fluted weight was to much to lug around sold it and got the thumb like it rill good in a 22in tapered barrel.
