I just had mine appear at my door step. A fella welded on a bolt handle to this clunker Glenfield .22 bolt. No heat sink required. Ha!
So now the firing pin isnt traveling too freely, wonder why. The bolt is warped inward, rubbing it. A screw on the side of the bolt, of the wrong vintage, is also complicating things, causing the bolt to bind on the way into battery. To top it off, the bolt was welded on a hair too far back, and is causing the handle to rub on the cut out in the receiver where the bolt is suppose to go down into when completely closed. Well, for a 40.00 gun I gave it about 10 minutes worth of attention and ordered a extractor spring from Gun Parts, she'll be shooting well enough once the extractor gets here. Some people just dont know.... Heat CAN kill!!
