i bought a recent mini stock and didnt know what type of wood is used. I sanded and got it down to bare wood, this is the 2nd one I refinished. Used the Birchwood casey stuff. looking for a military reproduction on this one

Yes, new 10/22 and Mini stocks are Birch.
