As it seems the Mini is picky about the ammo it's fed, what does everybodys Mini prefer?

As for me I'm still looking for that magic bullet. I have some 55 gr FMJ from Dallas Reloading that I'm going to try in the morning...

That Federal American Eagle 50 grain JHP works well for me. They also make a 55 grain and a 62 grain FMJ which groups about twice as big for me.

I came across a sale at www.sportsmenguide.com they had Remington UMC yellow box .223 ammo for about $2.39 a box when bought in bulk,Im not sure they still have it on sale.But its the same as green box it has the same Muzzle energy and velocity.My guns love it.They shoot wolf well to but the lacquer stinks when it gets hot,its messy to clean and you cant reload it.So I figure I come out better in the long run buying the more expensive Brass cased ammo,I can reload it at least 3 times in most cases.

Best factory load, 45 grn Winchester varmint 1.5" avg. groups. Best reloads 63 grn Sierra SP 1.15" avg. groups 3000 fps.

Would like to try: factory Federal LC, PMC; Reloads 50 grn. Nosler Ballistic tip, Sierra 52 grn HPBT.

went shooting with my in-laws yesterday. they brought some of those winchester 45 gr hp varmint factory loads. i think they're the same thing you're using, Cajungeo. the box says they are loaded for 3600 fps. anyway, i was impressed with the groups we got. didn't really fire shots for record, just blasting away. i guess i'm gonna have to get some and test them out. i know i got a 1"-10" twist, so i thought i'd get bad accuracy with that round.

usually i shoot handloads 63 gr sierra sp with 23 gr blc-2 for accuracy.

I have some of the Winchester Varmint Ammo that has been mentioned and may just try that next instead?

My stainless 195 likes American Eagle 50gr HP. It runs about 3400 fps. I loaded some Hornady Vmax ballistic tips with 27.5 gr of Win 748 to match that velocity (3416 fps avg), and I'm getting the about the same accuracy (1.75" avg). I have tried heavier bullets, but didn't have success in getting them to group like the 50 grain pills. I just ordered some 40 gr stuff just to see how the rifle likes it. I think it'd be fun to have a round that screams out there in the higher 3XXX fps range. If it groups well, it'd make a wicked awesome red mist machine.
