Hi GunRunner, Well I have never heard of Western Mag but I will say that it looks great!! Let us know how she works out. I have been debating getting a Mini 30 and High Cap Mags was/is an issue... Give it a whirl an let us know.
gunrunner, you got that picture from fourfourmag.com didn't you? A good choice, if it dosen't work, ever, you can return it for exchange or refund. They garentee all their mags. Not a bad deal for 20 bucks. If it were my deal I'd give it a try.

You are right - Masen only makes up to 10-rounders.
The 'follower' I refer to is the spring-loaded moveable part of the magazine that is below the first round you put in the mag. When firing the gun, it is the part that follows the last shell. It also flips the bolt-lock lever on the Minis.
I would say that this would most likely be the best magazine for the mini 30 but I have never used them.
I wish this mag was steel but it's not.
If anyone has used one, can you write about it.
I would have to buy 4, not just one because one is not good enough. the cost would be $400 american, I could buy around 25 western s/s mags for the same price, if I buy 25 then I think 5 or 6 would work???
Well, all I can tell you guys that I have been using 20 rd. and 30 rd magazines for the mini 14 ranch rifle and 30 rd mags for the mini 30 all from U.S.A. with only two incidents when I did not load the magazine properly as the rounds were not seated properly at the rear of the mag. All were new in the package except one 30 rounder for the mini 14, which I bought used at a pawn for $14 which works just fine. I only use brass case ammo, have found steel case ammo will cause problems in most magazines, with only a few exceptions of some type of firearms. Any magazine may be defective and need repair or replacement. Check the pawn shops that sell fireams, last year I found 2 ruger 20 rnd mags for $50 for both.:usa: singleside :rapid: FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
