I have a question for 10/22 fans. Does any one make a weaver sight rail to mount on the 10/22. I have the standard Ruger rail on my 10/22T but it limits the type of scope rings you can use.
So does anyone know of such an article and do they use the tapped holes in the reciever or do they attach to the Ruger rail.

I will scan the gun parts places on the web but I figured I was not the first person to think of this and someone out there did it or found it already.

One thing I dislike about Ruger is the tendency to make everything original so no standard parts will work. I wouldn't have minded paying a few more $ if the 10/22 came with a weaver rail.

Tankcommander, yes they do make a weaver rail for your 10/22/t, a couple of years ago when I bought my 10/22/t/ts I found the weaver rail at a gun show with no problem, can't remember who made it but it does exist. allons

Hey all! I'm new here and I'd thought I could help out with your search. Please do not confuse me with the moderator here of the same name.

Besides Power Custom, Volquartsen also makes Weaver-style bases for the Ruger 10/22, as well as a lot of nifty aftermarket replacement parts for it. Go to their site and scroll down the page to find their bases.

I can say from personal experience that Volquartsen is an excellent manufactuer of these parts and accessories, and their customer service is one of the best! Hope that helps!

Thanks SniperM1D I ended up getting a B-square rail from Cabela's. They had the stock I wanted as well as the muzzle brake, so instead of having 3 shipping charges I ordered it all from 1 dealer. Will mount it this weekend.

Their service was very good I ordered it last Friday got it the next Thursday and got e-mail status reports.

weaver makes the model T09(blue) and T09S(stainless). I have these on all my 10/22s. They kick you know what over the dovetail base..I don't know what they will run you, but I paid about 8.00 for the blue, and 10.00 for the stainless.
