I am new here so I hope this has not been asked a thousand times already. I was looking around for some magazines for both my mini-14 and mini-30 and came across an add for Victor magazines in a catalogue. Does anyone know anything about these mags and are they worth buying ($15 to $20 for the 20's)?

NOTPARS , I personally have no experience with the victors, but if you click on the search button, and enter victor mags, several threads will come up.

I have two Victors from Tapco. I got em before the mag ban here in
Corruptfornia..I have used them a couple times loaded to 25 rnds.
They are 30 rnd mags. They fit kinda loose in the receiver but have
not mal-funtioned yet. Now I'm a very slow shooter. One rnd at a
time. I don't know how they would work if you just kept pulling the
trigger as fast as you could, or you're lucky enough to have a
full auto legally..But for me they've worked..

Its been told to me Victor and Western Mags are the same?The 20RD Mags work fine for me,but anything over 20RDS Ive had problems with.

Hey thanks for the intel. The add in TAPCO says they work great but their e-mail said I might have to "adjust" them a little whatever that means. I guess for 15 to 19 bucks, thats something I can live with. I plan to use mine in a super mini-14 from ARS.:ar15:

I have had the same problem in my mini-30 with USA mags (yeah, I learned the hard way about those mags). The 20 rounders won't feed properly in my mini-30 but the 30 rounders do. The only reason I like the 20 rounders in my mini-30 is because the 30s stick out so far. I am trying Cabelas now to see how their Triple K's work (don't tell me these are USA's too....)?

Triple K is a company best known for makeing Holsters.They make some nice Holsters as well as some cheaper but very good Holsters.I probably have some in my inventory? Thats another thing I dont like about mini mags,its all but impossible to identify the brand.I etched Ruger on my factory Ruger Mags and Mason on my Mason Mags,and so on.But I have several that I have no idea what they are?
