Short of sending a Mini 14/30 trigger out to Accuracy Systems, Brimstone, or similar for a trigger job to be done, what improvements can be made that are worthwhile?
Thinking of a lighter trigger spring from Mcarbo and maybe a set of shims from TriggerShims, possibly the heavier hammer spring from Wolff.
Maybe a little stoning myself.
Got two of my own and now one of my son's to do, so three rifles total.
Be less than half the cost of sending it off to have a trigger job done.
Not looking for a target trigger, just a little smoother/lighter.
Waste of my time, effort, and money?
Just send it off to have it done by someone else?
