I am looking for a PRE BAN Ruger Mini 14. Does any one know the last serial number made? If not, what number should I be looking for? As ya'll can tell I am new to the mini 14.

Welcome to the forum Maddog. Here is a Ruger age chart that may help: http://www.sportables.com/ruger_rifles.htm Ban Sept 13, 1994 if I recall. You can also call Ruger at 603-865-2442 to hone it in even closer. I would stay away from the 180 series, as Ruger no longer supports parts, and after market stocks are very scarce.
