Gun Talk

http://www.guntalk.com/

This Sunday, May 19, you'll have a chance to tell Ruger Firearms what you want them to make. Steve Sanetti, a frequent guest on Gun Talk over the years, was just named the new president and chief operating officer of Sturm, Ruger, and his first national media appearance will be on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk. Steve is a competitive shooter, a hunter, and an amateur gunsmith. Or, as he puts it, "I've butchered enough rifles to know what not to do." Steve asks that shooters call and talk directly to him on Gun Talk, so he can know what you would like from Ruger. Want something new, or want them to bring back a model they dropped? Call Steve this Sunday.

I think you can listen on the above site ( only when show in progress) or later when archived. Wonder how many calls will be for Mini 10rd mags?

How about some guns that actually work??? That would be nice!!! Or better yet, how about some guns that work with ALL types of ammo-so we can decide for ourselves what kind of ammo we want to use??

They already have: my P95 and P97 haven't missed a beat no matter what ammo I'm shooting. No issues with my SP101, either. Or my MkI.

I doubt if I 'll be able to listen to the show, but if any of these ideas strike anyone as worthwile, maybe you could pass them along:

A truly compact Ruger. I like their auto-pistols but I would love to see an affordable smaller frame pistol from Ruger

A custom shop operation. I had to go to an outside agency to build me a super mini-14 with sub 1" M.O.A. Ruger could maybe begin their own custom shop to do this sort of thing. But it would be much more expensive? So are the after market jobs.
