What is the best way to preserve your Ruger mags when in storage. I know you can oil the outside just like a firearm, but what about the inside. I would think that you don't want to oil the inside but then again what about rust?

For those with USGI mags there is a product called Perma Slik G which restores your mags to the original teflon moly finish.

Also, has anyone tried using AR springs for 20 and 30 round mini-14 mags?
