Built for me in 1999 by George VonKlauss of Loomis, CA.

Built on a Steyr StG-58 parts kit

The following domestic parts replaced the orignals in order to comply with federal laws:

Receiver (DSArms)
Gas piston (DSArms)
Charging handle (DSArms)
Front handguard (Ironwood Designs)
Buttstock (Ironwood Designs)
Pistol grip (Ironwood Designs)
Muzzle brake (DSArms)

This was an
expensive way to build it up, but in my opinion, the right way.

By avoiding changing out the hammer, trigger, and sear (traditionally the way it is done, to save money), I've retained the factory proven, durable trigger (original Steyr).

The wood is fancy Claro Walnut. When my buddy and I called Ironwood, we caught him with a spare blank of Claro after custom stock job for another customer fell through. Our gain! The wood is highly striped, and absolutely beautiful.

The rifle metal itself is actually NON REFINISHED. The original Interordnance kit was so good, I decided to go with it as is!

Not pictured, but included, is a DSArms scope mount (replaces the dust cover).

The rifle is battle rifle accurate, and very beautiful.

This rifle is for sale to persons OUTSIDE CA (it is registered here in this state) only! I will only sell through the FFL of your choice in your state.

I will include 11 magazines, all work, in various states of finish, from good to very good.

I am asking $1200 plus shipping and insurance to the FFL of your choice. I will ship after receipt of funds and a signed copy of the FFL.

Thanks.

I think I'll KEEP it for now. I can't bear to part with it.
