I am 6' 2" and virtually every single point sling I see is too long for my philosophy. Most hang so that the connection point is at or below my crotch. That puts the muzzle of my AR about a foot off the ground. While that might be okay standing in my garage, it wouldn't be okay standing in knee high weeds or crossing a creek.

This is typical. What am I missing? What are single point sling manufacturers missing?

I see that now. So you can tighten it to pull the attachment point up to mid-gut level?

Thanks Woodstock. And tightened to that point, can you still shoulder the rifle without adjusting the sling?
