Just got back from the range. Today I shot 300 rounds of Silver Bear 223 in my Mini 14. Unlike Wolf or Barnaul, it doesn't gum up my chamber. Actually this stuff is less dirty than Federal or Olympic 55 grain. It's pretty hi powered(cases ejected 20 ft), accurate and tends to expand nicely. (exit hole between 45-50 caliber) I was shooting at cardboard boxes stuffed with damp newspaper. There was a guy at the range shooting Silver Bear 7.62x39 in his Sar 1. He was getting pretty good accuracy as well. I definitely would buy more for target practice. I may even buy some to put back. This stuff may be a good SHTF ammo.
