Finaly got a chance to shoot the AR I built. Ran a few hundred round though her yesterday. Mostly cheep brass mil. ammo. It never missed a beat. After I got the 6x dialed in my 12 year old son was hitting spent 12 ga shells and golf balls at 50 yards off a bench with every shoot. I papered it at 50 and was making nice little figure 8's with 2 round groups. Did not do to much 100 yrd work. The bench was not in good shape as could not hold my rest very still. As of now, I love our new family member. And for only $581.00. I can buy alot of ammo.

Here is what I did. I got the ASA striped lower from a friend that owns a gun shop. The rest came from J&T......Good stuff there. You ask for it and they will build it for ya.

I built this one from the ground up. A complete FN, M4 upper. It has a 16in. Shaw flat top bbl, heavy match grade, with a tactical muzz. break. Shaw makes bbls for Colt. And a forged ASA striped lower. Colt fire control group. All parts and pieces are mil spec. The folks I got the complete upper from test fired it for me before they ship it out at no extra cost. The total cost to me was $581.50. I had a retired S.F. buddy put it together for me.

i'm building another ar-15 bought the stripped lower paid 100.00 for a rock river. the parts kit for the lower is 58.00 and the upper is a m-4 a3 for 425.00 all new parts from rock river my last build was a whole lot cheaper but the parts on the upper were lightly used you cant argue with a free upper and parts kit the only thing i paid for on my last build was a stripped lower and a lower parts kit . i think after im done with this ar build im gona start on an ak-47 build bulgarian parts with a milled reciever... should be fun.....

i'll be building a bulgie 7.62 on a milled reciever . the milled are worth the extra bucks and are the best all around recievers to build around i only own milled . the 2 i own are a sa-93- and a slr-95 both are awesome guns . i'm totally sold on the milled recievers and wont own any thing else. just my .0002 cents worth hungarians make a mean gun also i thought about also a hungarian parts kit on a bulgie reciever or firing line reciever that would be too sweet. right now i'm finishing the ar- 15 build total rock river m-4 a-3 flat top 16in barrel.... that is gona give me wood..:D :D :ar15:
