Hello to all I am new to this forum but will be a regular because of the wealth of knowledge I have gained so far. I have a mini-thirty and want to put a scope on it? Does anyone have a preference on the scope size? I have a Tasco world class wide angle 4 x 44mm available soon as I take it off of my bolt rifle but before I do that. Will a 44mm(52mm bell) scope fit on the mini-thirty with stock bases?

You may want to look at getting the High Ruger rings. The ones that came with your gun are the Medium height rings. They are about $50, and you can get them at either Cheaperthandirt.com or sportsmansguide.com
