al you guys talking about the savage axces in 223 need to know it wont shoot the 5.56 nato rounds, must shoot 223 remington ammo and its allmost imposable to find here in nc.

Not sure if that is a question or a statement but, I own an Axis 223 and I do know that 223 Axis should not be used with NATO 5.56 ammo.
Savage themselves will tell you it' a NO- NO.
Don't believe the ads at Budsgunshop, they are wrong.
