So I called Ruger this morning to order a handguard liner for my mini 14. My wait time was all of a second. The gentleman I spoke with in the Connecticut parts facility and I shot the **** about changes in minis over the past few years and eventually got to ordering my part, for which he decided not to charge me. I have been and will always be a loyal Ruger fan.

They've never been anything but pleasant and easy to deal with, IME.

Except for that one fella I got ahold of shortly after Christmas -- didn't seem to understand what I was looking for. Another phone call the following day led me to a more knowledgeable tech, who got it all squared away.

Totally agree with you guys. I once bent the rear sight blade on my Blackhawk. When I called Ruger to order a replacement, they ended up sending the whole sight assembly gratis.
