I always wanted a 1911. I love the 45 and the Ruger 1911 seems like a good value.

Thanks for the comments and education. I bought the Ruger 1911 cmd light weight. Got to the range this afternoon. Very nice shooter, about 100 rounds with no issues. Pretty nice break on the trigger. Verh pleased so far with my first 1911.
