Has anybody done business with G-U Wholesale in Omaha http://www.guwholesale.com/Rifles/Rugmn14.htm ? They have some really appealing prices on Mini-14s.

No, but those are good prices.
I found out today, you can go to walmart sporting goods, ask to order a mini or other rifle, and they pull out a catalogue, and you can order about anything you want.

The prices I've heard quoted for Walmart's Mini-14s are about what my local gun shops are charging. ~$500 for blue with wood stock. I vaguely remember ~$550 for stainless with wood. Plus I have to add 7.6% tax. If I can get a Mini-14 in stainless for $415 (no tax) + $10 shipping + ~$20-25 FFL fee, that will save about $140. $140 dollars is 1000-1500 rounds of ammo to play with. Well, my brother-in-law lives near Omaha. I'll ask him to stop by G-U Wholesale and see if it's a hole-in-the wall looking operation or appears to be on the up and up.

I am going to Scottsdale AZ at the end of June. Do you know any gun shops in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area? I realize that Tucson is a couple of hours away or so but, I am just curious if you know of any with great prices etc?
