Have many people used these and what do you think about them. Would like advice before I buy:ar15:

I have one but havent mounted it yet. I'm using an aimtech scout rail, it lets you use your iron sights in addition to a scope. The Ranch mount looks well made, nice finish work, but i hate to give up the iron sights and it looks like you do if you use the Ranch. The mounting of it is straight forward, it replaces the top half of your gas block.

Works good thus far, only thing is, it raises the scope a bit, I have to consciously change my cheek weld position. Takes getting used to, I may buy a cheek rest to compensate for it...
