I'm probably dreaming but is there a quick disconnect rail compatible with the mini 14 receiver mounts?
I have Weigand rails on both my minis and they're fine for what they do but they block the iron sights and require a teeny, tiny allen wrench to remove the screws which I will inevitably drop and lose. Not ideal for a defense situation when the red dot goes black.
A qd rail would, of course, solve all those problems. Seems if Warne can make qd rings that are solid on the receiver, somebody could do the same with a rail.
