I went to the range yesterday and tried out the the ProMag Mini 14 10 round magazines I recently received from fourfourmag.com.
These magazines are stainless steel.

They worked 100%. No failures of any kind.
-Inserted and removed fine
-Locked bolt open after last round okay
-Fed any amount of rounds from 2 to 10.

I did not see that white grease that caused the problems Dave 3006 experienced, nor did I have to modify the follower on any of my magazines. I'm beginning to think Dave must have gotten several magazines from a bad run!

Another report...

Got out to the range today and both ProMag 10 rounders worked flawlessly. I did clean a bit of white grease out of them like Dave 3006. (just couldn't see why you'd want that in your rifle) (and I like to take stuff apart;)

They're a great mag for the money.

Just to follow up on the other ProMag thread - 186 series.
