There is a Postal Match set up for handguns only. The rule are as follows:

Postal Match Rules:

This will be for handguns only the first go around to see how people like it.

1. 22 Rimfire. 15 yards offhand at a 9" paper plate. No aiming point allowed on target. Iron sights only. Semi-auto, single shot or revolver.

2. Any caliber over 22. Semi-auto at 25 yards. 9" paper plate with no aiming point on target. Offhand. Iron sights only.

3. Any caliber over 22. Revolver at 50 yards. 9" paper plate with no aiming point on target. Iron sights from the bench or off hand, which ever you shoot the best from.

4. Any caliber over 22. Single shot pistol. 100 yards. 9" paper plate with no aiming point on target. Benchrest, sitting, prone, kneeling or offhand, which ever you feel most comfortable at. Scopes permissable.

All targets scored by the smallest group for 10 shots closest to the center of the target. All targets must be postmarked by Sept. 15th 2002. All targets must be witnessed and dated. Witness may also be a competitor but also must have a witness sign their targets. Do not have to compete in all 4 categories. I will donate a prize for all 4 categories. With a Grand Prize to the best targets of any competitor who shoots all four categories. Must be registered either as a member of GunBroker Forums or Perfect Union web site by August 1st.

If anybody would like to have the rules changed or amended, please speak up now as these will be the final rules effective July 15th 2002.

Sounds fair to me. I can only compete in the first 2 categories. What the heck is a single shot pistol?

Ok, I can practice all day and turn in my best plate? I'm going to win this one! Subsonic .22LR and a really tight grip!

I think it will be difficult to actually count all the lead marks in a 15 yard competition. We'll see many entries with clear marks for less than 10 rounds and people swearing that 10 rounds were indeed fired!

What?, a match where I have all of the equipment with no excuse to buy more goodies. You're killing me here. What I need are excuses to buy more. Now for the questions:

1. No restriction on tube length?
2. Targets mailed to you?
3. Mail lag time to Alaska?
4. Optics ok on #4?

I would be the last one to question the truthfullness of any competitor, BUT, I would bet that you get groups in that would do Olympic competition proud.

No restriction on barrel length. Once they get over 16" they are rifles then. Rule changes have been edited into the rules. If I can't find anybody else that wants to score these targets, then I guess it will be me.

Single shot pistol is like a Remington XP-100 or a T/C Contender.

Anybody that cheats will have to deal with their own GOD.

Cheaters never win, winners never cheat.
